LEWISBURG, Pa. - Senior
Quint Dingledine tallied five birdies on Friday to end day one of the Patriot League Championship tied for fourth. The Richmond, Va. native shot one-under-par at the par-72, 5,926-yard Bucknell Golf Club to pace the Leopards after 18 holes.
Lafayette sits in seventh in the eight-team field, as the team shot 287. The Maroon and White are three strokes out of third and eight strokes out of first with two days left to play.Â
Sophmore
Winston Kelenc-Blank landed tied for 16th after he carded a 72. Freshmen
Travis Robertson and
Reed Theiss both shot three-over-par for the afternoon, ending tied for 26th. Junior
Harry Dessel (75) and senior
Sean Saw (76) rest tied for 35th and 38th, respectively.
Loyola Maryland sits atop the team leaderboard after it shot one-under-par for the round. Army's John Heckel Jr. leads the 48-participant field after shooting a 67.
