EASTON, Pa. – The Maroon Club posted a record-breaking year in 2024-25, raising $2.51 million via more than 3,000 donors in support of Lafayette College athletics.
The 2024-25 school year continued a positive trend, eclipsing the previous fundraising record amount of $2.26 million in 2023-24. The most successful Bring the Roar week in school history raised more than $525,000 for the Maroon Club during the one-week span in November.
"Support through the Maroon Club enables our teams to compete at the highest level by providing the resources our student-athletes need to gain a competitive edge," said Lafayette Director of Athletics
Sherryta Freeman. "In 2024-25, we saw our field hockey team claim a Patriot League title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament while our men's lacrosse program notched its first-ever 10-win season and advance to the Patriot League Tournament semifinal along with many other team and individual accomplishments that are buoyed by the support of the Maroon Club."
