EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette men's lacrosse and head coach
Patrick Myers announced the signing of 11 new Leopards on Tuesday who will join the team in fall 2026.
"These 11 individuals in the 2026 recruiting class represent our cultural blueprint in many ways. As we continue to raise the bar for Lafayette lacrosse and with the changing landscape of college athletics, it is as important as ever to find the right kind of guys for our program," Myers said. "These young men represent our cultural values of hard work, toughness and brotherhood, along with a humble and hungry attitude. They know everything is earned and they are more than prepared to help push Lafayette lacrosse to new heights."
"We are proud of their accomplishments on the field, but even prouder of who they are in the classroom, in the community and off the field as young men who will represent Lafayette lacrosse the right way. This class brings a level of toughness combined with skill and competitiveness between the lines that will make our program better in many ways. Most importantly, they are coachable and want to get better and grow at the next level, while understanding that Lafayette is the perfect place for them to thrive. We aim to compete for championships and this class understands the standard at which we operate. We could not be more excited to welcome this group to College Hill."

Joe Angeli | D | 5-10 | 180 | Ho Ho Kus, N.J. | Bergen Catholic
Angeli comes to College Hill as a dual-sport athlete competing in lacrosse for four years and he kicked for a season on the football team. A four-year starter in lacrosse, the Ho Ho Kus, N.J. native is a team captain entering his senior campaign, primarily playing on defense or as a long-stick midfielder. During the 2025 season, he was Bergen Catholic's recipient of the Leadership Award. Angeli is a member of the National Honor Society and he intends to major in Economics at Lafayette.
"Joe is mean and plays with an edge. He brings a level of toughness to our defense that we love and is a true competitor. We are excited to see Joe's passion shine in a Lafayette uniform. He is tough off the ground, between the lines and is a natural leader."
Jackson Booker | D | 5-8 | 180 | Merion Station, Pa. | Lower Merion | Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
A two-sport athlete hailing from Merion Station, Pa., Booker will add more defensive depth to Myers' roster. In his freshman and sophomore years at Lower Merion, Booker played as an outside linebacker in football and was a defenseman/long-stick midfielder in lacrosse. In his junior season at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, Booker logged 51 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers. He's being inducted as a cum laude student in the spring and plans to study Mechanical Engineering on College Hill.
"Jackson is a tough, gritty and high IQ defender who brings a great motor along with a positionless mentality. Jackson is coachable, plays hard and has a chip on his shoulder. We are excited to see Jackson raise the bar in maroon and white."
Mason Bussmann | A | 5-11 | 175 | Lyme, Conn. | Lyme-Old Lyme | Northfield Mt. Hermon
Bussmann joins the Leopards as a two-sport athlete in high school, competing in lacrosse and soccer all four years. The Lyme, Conn. native primarily played as an attacker/midfielder in lacrosse and during his junior season he led the state in accumulated points. Bussmann is a two-time team captain, Shoreline Conference Player of the Year, First-Team All-State, First Team NESLL and a three-time First-Team All-Shoreline selection. The future Leopard received the President's Award for academic achievement, he's a member of the National Honor Society and intends to study Economics in Easton.
"Mason is a very skilled offensive player who can play anywhere on the field. Mason's game is balanced as he can score, as well as set up his teammates and fits very well within our offensive system."
Hayden Davis | M | 5-8 | 180 | Falmouth, Maine | Falmouth Maine
Davis hails from Falmouth, Maine and brings experience from competing in soccer and alpine skiing, along with lacrosse. He played soccer for three seasons as a defensive back and he's a four-year letterwinner in alpine skiing and a two-time state champion. The midfielder/attacker earned a state title in 2024 and he's a two-time All-American, All-State, and team captain, as well as a three-time all-conference selection with 240 career points. Davis also received all-conference selections in soccer (2) and alpine skiing (2). He's a member of the National Honor Society and intends to major in Economics at Lafayette.
"Hayden is a true Swiss army knife type of player who is a throwback when it comes to playing at both ends of the field. We are very excited to bring his competitive level into our locker room and see him shine within our system."
Owen Gibbons | FO | 5-7 | 165 | Southport, Conn. | Fairfield Ludiowe | Brunswick School
A two-sport athlete native to Southport, Conn., Gibbons played hockey and lacrosse in high school. On the ice, he earned All-FCIAC Second Team status and is a team captain for his senior campaign. Gibbons' time on the field in lacrosse was spent as a faceoff specialist. Heading into his senior year, he holds a combined record of 29-8, having played at Fairfield Ludiowe and the Brunswick School. Gibbons was previously named to the All-FCIAC East squad and he'll major in Economics on College Hill.
"Owen has quick hands, is tough off the ground and can ignite the group by finishing off plays. Owen's hockey background combined with his work ethic and competitive level make him a perfect fit at the X for Lafayette lacrosse."
Hunter Harris | A | 6-2 | 200 | Cincinnati, Ohio | Indian Hill | Western Reserve Academy
Harris joins Myers' group as an attacker hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio. Through three years at Indian Hill and Western Reserve Academy, Harris holds a 15-6 record in lacrosse and he was a state quarterfinalist in soccer in the sole season he competed. Harris was named Indian Hills' Offensive MVP, was an All-CHL Second Team selection and he ranked fourth in goals. During his time at WRA they ranked No. 2 in the Midwest, No. 3 in Independent Prep, No. 24 in the U.S. and were consistently within the top 25 of
Inside Lacrosse's rankings. The attacker is a member of the National Honor Society and intends to study Economics at Lafayette.
"Hunter is a true quarterback. An explosive dodger who can also scan the field and find his teammates, Hunter's size and speed make him a tough cover and someone who gets better the more the ball is in his stick. He can dodge from any spot on the field and we are very excited to see him make an immediate impact."
Bret Kennedy | D | 6-0 | 180 | Katonah, N.Y. | Somers High School
Kennedy makes his way to College Hill as a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and football during his time at Somers. In football, he primarily played as a tight end/linebacker and claimed all-section honors two times in addition to one all-state laurel. Kennedy was also a team captain and the Class A Section 1 Defensive Player of the Year. As a three-year starter in lacrosse, Kennedy was both an all-section and all-state honoree and he won a state championship with Somers as team captain.
"We are stoked to see Bret come in and compete on the defensive end for us. Bret is a multi-sport athlete who has played in big games and big moments and knows how to help his team win. Bret is tough off the ground and in the middle of the field and can guard multiple positions."
Max McBride | A | 5-8 | 155 | Darien, Conn. | Darien
McBride joins Myers' program as a two-sport athlete in lacrosse and football. The Darien, Conn. native was a four-year letterwinner as an attacker/midfielder at Darien and a two-time runner-up in state competition, while competing in football for two years. McBride was named an All-FCAIC Second Team member in 2023 & 2024 and last season he earned a spot on the first team. The attacker also claimed First Team All-State status in 2025. McBride is the president of the Student League of Darien and plans to major in Economics on College Hill.
"Max is a dynamic evader who can spark the offense off the dodge and create opportunities with his ability to score or pass. Max has a really quick first step and can play anywhere on the offensive end, both below and above the goal."
Bo Minogue | M | 5-11 | 190 | Hamilton, Mass. | St. John's Prep
Minogue hails from Hamilton, Mass. and competed in lacrosse and football at St. John's Prep. As a two-year starter at linebacker/safety, he contributed to a division two state championship in 2022. Minogue had paralleled success on the lacrosse field, notching four division one state titles as a key member of St. John's midfield unit. He intends to study Economics at Lafayette.
"Bo is a tough, old-school midfielder who can play at both ends. Bo plays with a chip on his shoulder and is all about playing competitive and winning lacrosse. He can dodge for either hand and takes a lot of pride in his defense."
Matteo Moran | M | 6-2 | 196 | Boca Raton, Fla. | Saint Andrew's
A midfielder from Boca Raton, Fla., Moran was a four-year starter and has recently posted seasons of 19 goals/nine assists and 20 goals/10 assists from midfield. In 2023, he won a state title with Saint Andrew's, which was followed up by a regional championship in 2024. Last season, Moran guided Saint Andrew's to the state final, earning All-Palm Beach County laurels along the way. The midfielder plans to major in Economics next fall.
"Matteo is an athletic and fluid dodger who brings size and speed to the table. Matteo is someone who can make an impact at both ends of the field and brings an explosive element that gives him the potential to be a difference maker."
Matteo Sanders | G | 6-0 | 225 | Poughquag, N.Y. | Loomis Chaffee
Sanders comes to College Hill with experience in lacrosse, football and hockey. As a defensive lineman/long snapper, he aided Loomis Chaffee to a Conroy Bowl championship. On the ice, Sanders was a four-year starter and team captain during his junior and senior seasons. The Poughquag, N.Y. native is a two-time Founders League champion. The 2025 squad finished 16-1 and was crowned national champions by
Inside Lacrosse. Sanders intends to study Neuroscience on College Hill.
"Matteo is fundamentally sound, patient and makes the stops we need him to make, while having the ability to spark transition with his outlets. He brings a passion for the goalie position and a drive to get better every day. We look forward to seeing Matteo compete in a competitive goalie room on day one."
