EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette softball schedule is set for the 2026 season, a campaign that will see the Leopards play in five tournaments in February and March before embarking on the 18-game Patriot League schedule under second-year head coach Kelliner Croushore.  

Lafayette opens the season Feb. 13 at the University of Houston Tournament which will feature Houston, Penn State, Michigan, Incarnate Word and Houston Christian over three days. The second weekend takes the Leopards to UNC-Wilmington for five games against Georgetown, Iona and the hosts Feb. 20-22.

Boiling Springs, N.C. in a tournament hosted by Gardner-Webb awaits the Maroon and White on the third weekend of the season. Lafayette will also play New Haven and North Dakota State (Feb. 27-March 1). 

The month of March begins with a pair of tournaments, first at the Longwood Spring Break Classic (March 7-8) in Farmville, Va. playing Longwood and LeMoyne and then at the Radford Invitational (March 13-14) vs. Radford and East Tennessee State. 

The Leopards will be in the capitol region during spring break, playing mid-week doubleheaders with George Mason (March 17) in Fairfax, Va. and Georgetown (March 18) in Washington D.C.

Lafayette's home- and Patriot League-opening series comes March 21-22, hosting a three-game series vs. Boston U. As with all conference clashes, the Leopards are scheduled for a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday, with each day beginning at noon. Lafayette closes the month at Army on March 28-29. 

April kicks off a seven-game homestand, starting with a doubleheader vs. Stony Brook on April 4, before a conference series with Bucknell on April 11-12. A mid-week doubleheader with St. Peter's finishes off the home swing on Tax Day.

Softball closes out April with conference weekends at Holy Cross (April 18-19) and at home vs. Colgate (April 25-26). Senior Day is slated for April 26. A Tuesday doubleheader on April 28 vs. Rider ends the month. 

The regular season concludes in Easton when the Leopards host Lehigh on May 2-3. The Patriot League Tournament is set for May 7-9.
