SCORING LEADER
Junior guard Teresa Kiewiet currently paces the Patriot League in scoring, averaging 17.6 ppg. The North Mankato, Minn. native also ranks highly in rebounding (ninth), field-goal percentage (fourth) and three-point percentage (eighth).

SCOUTING NAVY
The Mids finished their non-conference schedule with a 6-5 record and collected their second win in four games (77-51) in their third PL game at Bucknell (Jan. 7). Navy posted an 11-7 record in PL play last season and an 8-5 mark out of the conference.
Wednesday marks the 86th meeting between the Leopards and Mids in their respective histories. Lafayette holds an 8-8 record against Navy since head coach Kia Damon-Olson has been at the helm. Lafayette split meetings with the visitors in 2024-25.
Looking at the Mids' matchup with Bucknell, Zoe Mesuch and Quinn Boettinger were the leaders on offense for Navy. Mesuch finished the outing with a team-high 15 points, two assists and three steals on 5-12 shooting from the floor. Boettinger logged just 13 minutes for the Mids, but she was efficient, scoring 13 points on 6-9 shooting and grabbing five boards, a block and a steal. Julianna Almeida and Zanai Barnett-Gay contributed valuable minutes against the Bison as well. Almeida notched 12 points and four rebounds, while Barnett-Gay grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds, and scored 10 points.
As a team, Navy shot 45.5 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 52.9 percent from the charity stripe in the victory. The Mids rank second in the conference in scoring offense (69.3 ppg) and seventh in defensive rating, allowing their opponents to score 64.6 points per outing.

LAST TIME OUT
Leopard guards Teresa Kiewiet (23) and Haylie Adamski (20) were key contributors in Lafayette's nail-biting victory (65-64) at Boston U. on Jan. 7, combining for 43 points. Freshman forward Maddison Krug also had a quality outing, recording a team-high nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Lafayette is off to its best start in Patriot League play since the 2021-22 season (2-1).

SHOOTERS SHOOT
Leopard guards Haylie Adamski, Teresa Kiewiet, Sauda Ntaconayigize and Talia Zurinskas are all shooting 35 percent or better from downtown this season.  Adamski leads the pack, shooting at a conference-leading 43.4 percent clip and Ntaconayigize is right behind her with 41.7 percent (3rd in PL). Kiewiet and Zurinskas are shooting the deep ball at 40.0 & 35.0 percent clips.

The Maroon and White retake the court at 5 p.m. on Wednesday as they make their way to Lewisburg, Pa. for the first meeting of the season with Bucknell.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior guard Teresa Kiewiet was named the Patriot League Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks (Dec. 1 & Dec. 8) for her performances at Pitt (11/25), NJIT (11/30), FDU (12/4) and Marist (12/7). The Engineering major averaged 22.8 ppg across four games and dropped in a season-high of 25 points and five triples for 55.6 percent shooting from deep.
