EASTON, Pa. – Senior Lena Thedrian was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week when the conference office announced honors on Monday afternoon.

Leopard defender Katie Gibb and goalkeeper Addison Kahn were selected as honorable mentions for their efforts this week.

The Patriot League field hockey players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

No. 15 Lafayette claimed the Patriot League regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Patriot League Field Hockey Championship after a 2-0 victory over Boston University on Oct. 30. The regular-season finale extended the Leopards' win streak to six games, including an undefeated home (10-0) and conference (6-0) record. Against the Terriers, Thedrian netted the first goal of the game at 25:59 in the second period to put the Leopards up by an initial 1-0.

Head coach Jennifer Stone and the top-seeded Leopards (15-2, 6-0 PL) earned the regular-season crown for the first time since 2012 and will host the four-team championship at Rappolt Field in Easton, Pa.

The Maroon and White face No. 4 Holy Cross on Thursday at noon in the semifinal round.
