BALTIMORE, Md. - The Lafayette fencing team continued its 2025-26 campaign by traveling to Johns Hopkins for the MACFA "A vs C" event on Sunday.
The Maroon and White competed in matches against Johns Hopkins, Navy, Haverford and Maryland. The men defeated Navy, 16-11, and Maryland, 20-7.
The Leopard men were paced by sophomore saber
Jordan Ginsberg, who won eight bouts. Sophomore saber
Nikita Kogan had seven wins. Sophomore epee

William Nicoll and senior epee
Tyler Morse all recorded six victories. Freshman epee

Ryan Kramer won three and four bouts, respectively. A pair of Leopards had two wins: freshman foil

The women were led by sophomore foil
Zoe Lenz, who won a team-best 10 bouts. Sophomore epee
Hilla Wetherill had eight wins, while freshman foil
Cora Davia amassed seven. Junior saber
Makenna McCall and freshman epee
Helen Broikos had five and three victories, respectively.
The Leopards continue their season when they travel to Drew for the MACFA A Round-Robin on Feb. 21.
