Leopards held Terriers to two second-half goals

BOSTON, Mass. - Lafayette took Boston U. to the wire in a 12-10 loss on Saturday afternoon at Nickerson Field.

Igneri (10L15) and Emma Toner (1:47) got Lafayette on the board in the opening quarter, trailing 3-2.

While the Maroon and White scored added two tallies to begin the second period, Boston unleashed a 7-1 run to claim a 10-5 halftime advantage. The Terriers' Makenzie McDevitt had three goals in the offensive burst.

The Leopards outscored the hosts 3-1 in the third quarter with goals by Georgia Swarr, Evelyn Guyer and Olivia Hover.
