Leopards Announce 2026 Field Hockey Schedule

Lafayette sets off to continue legacy of excellence

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette field hockey and head coach Jennifer Stone announced its 2026 schedule, featuring 17 regular season contests. The slate includes 10 home games at Rappolt Field and seven road matchups against a challenging mix of nationally-recognized opponents.

The Leopards open the fall with a neutral-site swing to Evanston, Ill. to play Kent State on Aug. 28 before facing Northwestern on Aug. 30. Lafayette's home opener is set for Sept. 4 against Temple at 6 p.m.

Cornell makes the journey to Easton just three days later, prior to Rider on Sept. 11. A pair of road tests at Drexel and Colgate (Sept. 18) get Patriot League play underway. The Maroon and White close out the first full month of competition versus VCU and at Holy Cross.

October begins with a home match against American, before the final two road games of the season at Penn State (Oct. 4) and Bucknell (Oct. 9).

Five consecutive games on Rappolt Field close out the regular season: Delaware (Oct. 11), rival Lehigh (Oct. 16), William & Mary (Oct. 18), Brown (Oct. 25) and Boston U. (Oct. 30).

The Patriot League tournament begins with semifinal-round action on Thursday, Nov. 5. The title game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 7. All three matches will be available live on ESPN+ and hosted at the home site of the Championship's No. 1 seed, which is yet to be determined.

The Maroon and White's schedule features three opponents who competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and four opponents who ranked in the previous top 25 (RPI).
