EASTON, Pa. - Head coach Jennifer Stone announced the addition of six first-year athletes to the field hockey roster for the 2026 season. The group includes athletes hailing from Maryland, Massachusetts (2), New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Paraguay.

Lolly Ackermann | #5 | F/M
Ackermann, a four-year varsity starter for Pingry, helped aid her squad to a Preparatory and County Championship last fall. Her accolades include All-County and All-Conference First Team, All-State Non-Public Second Team and New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association laurels. Academically, the midfielder took home honor roll for each year. The Morristown, N.J. native also competed for the varsity ice hockey team, which was crowned as state champions in 2023. Ackermann enjoys painting and spending time outdoors in her free time. She has played in the Nexus Championship from 2023-25 and is part of the 2026 USA National Indoor Developmental Team. Ackermann has club experience with Centercourt FHC, where she took part in multiple National Club Championship tournaments.

Katie Jackivicz | #8 | F/M
Hailing from Mattapoisett, Mass., Jackivicz spent four years playing multiple positions for Tabor Academy's field hockey team. In her senior season, she collected 18 goals and 48 points while the group was titled ISL champions. The program played in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Tournament in 2022 and 2025. Her club team, True Grit, helped her shine in three Nexus championships and two Under Armor Select games. For the varsity track and field team, Jackivicz collected four varsity seasons and won the NEPSAC's high jump event twice. Her hobbies include playing piano and serving as a lifeguard.
 
Lexi Bristow | #10 | F/M
Bristow, a Frederick, Md. native, was a two-sport varsity athlete. At Urbana, she ranks second all-time in scoring for the field hockey program. The team collected four 4A West Regional championships as well as two Central Maryland Conference titles. As a two-year captain, Bristow was named the 2025 Frederick News Post Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Year and was tabbed as an All-Central Maryland Conference First Team honoree three times. She earned All-CMC Second Team laurels once and graduated with the highest honors. She also competed on the outdoor and indoor track squads, running the 800m for four years on varsity. Bristow is a recreational coach for her club team, the Washington Wolves, in her free time. She has over 12 years of classical ballet background.
 
Elsa Wood | #17 | F/M
As a three-sport athlete at Brooks, Wood has 12 seasons of varsity competition under her belt. For the field hockey team, she played forward and midfield while totaling 14 goals and 10 assists. Her accolades include All-Independent School League (ISL) Honorable Mention, All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention, All-ISL and All-NEPSAC laurels. Wood graduated cum laude and earned an ISL Award of Excellence. She has club circuit experience with the Northeast Elite. The Manchester, Mass. native also played for the ice hockey and lacrosse programs. Outside of sports, she is a certified scuba diver and knows how to drive a boat.

Mia Barreto | #24 | D
Barreto makes her way to College Hill from Luque, Asunción-Paraguay. The defender has high school and preparatory experience from the Sacred Heart of Jesus School-Salesianito and the Columbia University of Paraguay. She has played field hockey since she was nine years old and won multiple club championships with CURDA. The international athlete was a captain of the Paraguay National Team and led the squad to a bronze medal at the Pan American Hockey 5's World Cup and a silver medal at the Bolivarian Games. Barreto was tabbed as an outstanding student. She is excited to experience the culture of the United States and is interested in graphic design for social media, amongst other creative outlets.
 
Avery Ruggerio | #94 | GK
Ruggerio stands as the lone goalkeeper in the class of 2030, coming to Easton from Wayne, Pa. The Notre Dame de Namur athlete helped the program to three undefeated seasons. Ruggerio stood in the net as the team garnered three Inter-Academic Conference and two Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association (PAISAA) championships. Notre Dame de Namur crowned her as the Most Improved Player and a two-time All-Main Line Honorable Mention. In 2025, the program ranked No. 1 in the country by Max Field Hockey. Ruggerio plays club field hockey for WC Eagles. She competed on varsity for track and field for two years. Academically, she collected honor roll laurels and spent three years as part of the STEM Scholars of Excellence Program. Ruggerio is currently training to be a certified EMT and loves traveling around the world.
