WILMINGTON, NC - Kim Miller took second in the pole vault to lead Lafayette at the Cape Fear Classic on March 17-18.

Miller's vault of 10'6" was good enough for second place and also qualified her for the ECAC Championships held at the end of the year.

Sadie Wetherbee had a strong day for Lafayette, taking third in the 400 (59.62) and fourth in the 200 (26.77). Danielle Hasiuk took third in the triple jump (35' 8 3/4") and Jackie Bingham also took third, recording a throw of 118'6" in the javelin.

Kenda Roberts was fourth in the 400M (1:00.35) and Katie O'Connor was fifth in the triple jump (34' 10 1/4").
