EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) -Lafayette track and field standout Natalie Bosserman was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District II Team. Bosserman, who graduated magna cum laude on May 22, earned a 3.90 grade point average in her final semester, earning a degree in Economics & Business and Mathematics.
Bosserman, who graduated with a 3.62 cumulative GPA, is the holder of four school records, including the outdoor 400 meter dash, the indoor and outdoor 4x400 relays and the outdoor 4x100 relay. She also holds the second best time in Lafayette history in the indoor 400 meter dash.
A six-time ECAC qualifier, Bosserman was named the Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2003. As a senior, Bosserman was named to the All-League First Team as a member of the gold medal winning and school record breaking 4x400 relay team at the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Nominees for CoSIDA Academic honors must be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials and at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
