March 24, 2000
PHILADELPHIA, PA -
Lafayette trailed entering the sixth inning, 4-1, but scored five runs in the top half of the
inning to pull ahead, 6-4. Unfortunately for the Leopards, the game was called with one out
in the bottom half of the sixth, reverting the score back to the last completed inning, and
giving the Quakers a 4-1 decision.
The Leopards used six walks and a two RBI single by Liz Siliato to take the lead in the top
half of the sixth inning, but it mattered little as darkness ensued. Instead, Lafayette
managed just one hit and one run in its seventh loss of the season.
Liz Lucisano managed the Leopards' only hit in the first five innings, while Liz Siliato
scored Lafayette's only run and stole a base.
Lafayette returns to action Tuesday, March 28 when Seton Hall invades. Game time is set
for 3:00 p.m.
