PHILADELPHIA, PA - Mike Palos went six solid innings, and catcher Jon Kline drove in two runs as Lafayette swept a doubleheader from La Salle with a 5-3 second game victory.

The Leopards jumped on the board early, scoring three runs in their first two at-bats. They tacked on another run in the fifth inning to take a 4-1 lead. La Salle, however, came storming back with a two run sixth inning, making the score 4-3. After tacking on an insurance run in the top of the seventh inning, Ross Butler relieved Palos in the seventh and picked up the save, walking one and striking out one.

Palos went six complete innings, giving up four hits, walking two and striking out three. He is 1-0 on the season.

The Leopards improve to 3-11 with the sweep, and return to action Wednesday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m. as they host Penn at Metzgar Fields.
