EASTON, Pa. – Colin Houck has joined the Lafayette baseball staff as the program's new assistant coach under fourth-year head coach
A.J. Miller.
"We are excited to welcome coach Houck to the Lafayette Baseball Family!," said coach Miller. "Colin is a young, bright and eager baseball mind who will fit seamlessly into the program."
Since May of 2025, Houck has been an assistant coach at Bloomsburg University, primarily working with the infielders.
Prior to his stint with Bloomsburg, the Coopersburg, Pa. native played his final collegiate season for DeSales, earning First-Team All-MAC Freedom honors at third base. Before coming to Desales, Houck was a part of a combined 79 wins over two years at East Stroudsburg and he helped ESU win the PSAC East regular season title in 2024. Houck started his collegiate career at Mercer County Community College where his team reached the Division 2 JUCOÂ World Series in Enid, Okla., making it it to the national semifinals in 2022.Â
Houck graduated from Southern Lehigh High School where he led the program to a Colonial League Championship and two District XI runner-up finishes. He earned a bachelor's degree in History from DeSales in 2025
