EASTON, Pa. - The 2026 Friends of Lafayette Baseball Golf Outing raised more than $30,000 for the third consecutive year in support of the Lafayette Baseball program. Friends of Lafayette Baseball's largest fundraiser of the year was held Monday, Aug. 17 at the Essex Fells Country Club in Essex Fells, N.J.

More than 115 members of the Lafayette baseball community, which included former players, alumni, families, friends, and supporters of the program, came together to support the Maroon and White baseball program for the annual outing.

Lafayette Director of Athletics Sherryta Freeman, Executive Vice President Audra Kahr, and head coach, A.J. Miller '11, were the keynote speakers at the event.

The event was organized by the golf committee of the Friends of Lafayette Baseball, which included John Gentile '12, Jason Carlough '01, Bill Heddon '01, Cory Spera '15, Steven Cohen '18, Pat Spellman '96, Matt Maiorino '04, Casey Ennis '11 and Kevin McKernan '98.

"There's a lot of positive energy around Lafayette Baseball right now" Miller said. "It was awesome to see so many generations of the Lafayette Baseball family together in one place supporting our players and the future of the program."
