LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Junior Paulo Coelho (Whippany, N.J./Whippany Park) scored with just over seven minutes remaining in the game to give Lafayette a 1-0 victory over Siena on Wednesday afternoon.

Coelho scored off a corner kick from sophomore Jamie Mullarkey (Cramlington, England/Cramlington) at 82:19. It was one of just four Lafayette shots in a defensive battle.

Sophomore Joe Barham (Ocean Beach, N.J./Christian Brothers) was barely tested in goal by Siena which registered six shots. Barham made one save in 90 minutes in his second win of the season. Siena's Jonathan Hicks also made a save in goal for Siena (6-9-2).

Lafayette improves to 8-4-4 and next hosts Lehigh on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m, the Leopards' final regular-season game.
