EASTON, Pa. - Head coach Dennis Bohn announced Lafayette's 2026 recruiting class, which includes four freshmen and one transfer who will join the reigning Patriot League champions in the fall of 2026. 

"We are excited about the addition of these talented student-athletes to the Lafayette Soccer Family," Bohn said. "It's not a large group but I am confident they will add many positive things to our program."

The five new signees are listed below.

Ryder Atwood | Defender | Austin, Texas | Vandegrift

At Vandegrift: Played as a center back, wingback, and defensive midfielder, winning a Texas State championship during the 2024-25 season…reached the state semi finals twice and won a district championship during the 2023-24 season…selected to the second team all-district in his senior season, tallying nine goals and four assists…named to the UIL All-Tournament Team, second team all-state, and first team all-district during his senior season…garnered Texas All-State Academic Honors in 2024, 2025, and 2026…played club soccer for Austin FC Academy in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Next League, where he won a GA Cup championship…also played club soccer for Lonestar SC ECNL, where he was named the U17 team captain and garnered ECNL Texas-All Conference honors.

Personal: Son of Nicole and Ryan Atwood…has two younger sisters, Charlotte and Grace…father, Ryan, played soccer at Lafayette, where he won back-to-back Patriot League championships in 1998 and 1999.



 

Drew Goodrich | Midfielder | Pasadena, Md. | McDonogh School

At McDonogh School: Played as a midfielder all four years reaching the conference championship in 2025, made the conference playoffs 2022-2025…during the 2025 season was selected to the Maryland All-State First Team and the all-league first team…held the role of team captain his senior campaign and won the McDonogh Coach's Award…member of the dean's list for four separate semesters…played club soccer for Pipeline 2008 ECNL under head coach Brandon Quaranta.

Personal: Son of Stephanie and Eric Goodrich…has an older sister, Emma…father, Eric, was a baseball pitcher at SUNY Cobleskill…grandfather, Mike Gorni, played soccer at Temple University.



 

Nicolas Juliano | Forward | Wilmington, Mass.| Austin Prep

2025 (at Bryant): Did not see any game action.

At Austin Prep: Played forward and midfielder…played club for Seacoast United SC Major League Soccer (MLS) next U19 Team, where he led the team in scoring… selected to the Next Gen Media MLS Next Fest U17 Best XI…named the Top Drawer Soccer Player to Watch MLS Next Flex…competed in the MLS Next Fest in 2023…member of the Seacoast United USL 2 squad.

Personal: Son of Pedro and Elisabeth Juliano…has a younger brother named Gabriel.



John-Henry Lodge | Goalkeeper | Naples, Fla. | Village School of Naples

At Miami Futbol Academy Rush: Played three years for the club in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Next League…selected to the North America team for Capelli Sport Plus Cup in Denmark in 2025 and 2024…also selected to the all star game at National Academy Championships at IMG Academy 2026…won flex group in the MLS Next League and competed in playoffs in 2024.

Personal: Son of Elizabeth and Kristian Lodge.



Kaz Seyhoon | Defender | Austin, Texas | Westwood

At Westwood: Won the 2026 district championship his senior year, scoring 19 goals and adding five assists…led team in scoring during senior campaign…honored as a member of the all-district first team…played as a striker, center attacking midfielder, winger, and fullback across three years tallying 29 goals and 13 assists…also honored as a member of the 2025 all-district second team and as a 2024 district honorable mention…named as the 2024 Westwood Young Player of the Year and the 2025 Westwood Offensive MVP…dual-sport athlete who also played golf and won a Balcones Shootout Championship…honored as an academic all-state selection in 2026 and an academic all-district selection in 2024-26…played club soccer for Lonestar SC ECNL and Austin FC Academy in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Next League.

Personal: Son of Cori and Soroosh Seyhoon…has two younger brothers, Zayden and Zealand…both parents, Cori and Soroosh, played soccer at Columbia University.
