FAIRFAX, Va. (www.lafayette.edu) - Freshman Mollie Moschberger turned in a five-hit performance on the mound, allowing just one run against George Mason but that would be the deciding factor in Lafayette's 1-0 loss at the Patriot Classic on Saturday.

George Mason (3-15) scored the lone run in the third inning and held Lafayette to three hits in the contest.

Kelly Wise was 1-for-3 with a triple while Megan Longo was 1-for-2 with a double for the Leopards (1-6). Erin Allison also recorded a hit in Lafayette's third game of the three-day tournament, going 1-for-2 in the contest.

Lafayette rounds out play at the three-day tournament with a 11 a.m. showdown vs. Long Island. The Leopards then open their home season on Tuesday with a doubleheader against St. Joseph's at 2:30 p.m.
