Lafayette head coach Frank Tavani
On Colgate's passing attack: "I think they had some success early with it and (Luke Graham) was having a big day. It's like anything else, and they just started going to him. They saw we were having trouble with the footing and the kid was getting open and making some catches. At halftime, he had 162 yards receiving. I would have still thrown it to him, too."
On Lafayette's next step: "You can do two things. You can pack your tent and go crawling in a hole. I know this team will never do that. Or you come back tomorrow and you get after it. Now it's on to Bucknell. We knew this was a tough three-game road trip. They're three tough places to play in Fordham, Colgate and now Bucknell. My focus is Bucknell now."
Lafayette linebacker John-Frank Stubits
On Colgate's passing game: "We prepared a lot for the run this week, but credit them. They did a great job passing. They made the plays when they had to make them. They did do a good job of picking up the blitz. It's another credit to them. They had us scouted out well. They made plays and that was the difference in the game."
On the Colgate loss: "I think anytime you lose a close game like that it hurts. We're on the verge of turning this program around. It definitely hurts. We're going to regroup and we're going to go at it next week. By no means is the season over. We're going to come out fired up next week to play Bucknell."
On Colgate's big plays: "There were a couple of key ones. There isn't one that really sticks out. They made a couple of big plays in there. They completed a couple of third-down passes that were huge. They made the plays when they had to."
On the early deficit: "We've been down before. It's not a strange thing to us. We tell ourselves we have to keep fighting. We have a bunch of fighters on this team. We're a bunch of tough kids. We just keep playing. The score doesn't even phase us. We go out and play hard."
