Lafayette Coach Fran O'Hanlon: "I thought we competed well in the second half when we cut it to 11 points, but we just could not get over the hump there."

"We did some good things and we got off to a good start in the first half. Mike Farrell got into foul trouble and we just do not have the depth. We competed for 30 minutes and against a team like Penn you have to compete for 40 minutes. We played real well in the second half."

"They haven't been missing. I was hoping for an off game, but maybe 45 percent is an off game for them."

"I have mixed feelings. I am such a Penn fan and such a Fran Dunphy fan having been there. With that being said I can root for them every other game except this one. I think it is a great game for us because a team like Penn is a top-25 team in the country. I like that challenge."

Guard, Justin DeBerry: "It took some time for our guards to figure out what they were doing. They were switching out a lot. In the second half we were able to make more of an adjustment and execute our offense a little better.

Guard, Andrew Pleick: "It's been tough. The effort is there. We feel great about the effort, just not about the outcome. Hopefully the ball will start bouncing our way."

Pennsylvania Coach Fran Dunphy: "I thought our first-half performance was pretty good. I thought we did some real good things."

"I thought they made some great shots in the second half, some guarded shots. Fran O'Hanlon is a terrific basketball coach. We knew they would not go away. We knew they would make a run."

"We had a chance to put some space between us and them early in the second half but chose not to do that. We made some poor decisions and we did some selfish things also."

"It is a win for us. A good win for us because we are on the road against a very well-coached team. They played better in the second half and I would attribute that to how well they were prepared for us."

Guard, Adam Toole: "It is good in terms of the fact that we shot the ball well and played well against good teams. At the same time you can rely on that too much and we did that tonight. We tried to outscore them."

Forward, Ugonna Onyekwe: "Coming off the bench does not bother me. I have to be ready to play when I go in. I try to maintain focus for the first few minutes and see how the game is going."
