WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's soccer team fell to American, 4-2, in a Patriot League contest on Saturday.

The Eagles led 3-0 when senior midfielder Meghan Ramsey (Lakeville, Minn./Great Valley) got the Leopards on the board in the 76th minute. Katie Morton (Reigelsville, Pa./Penn Charter) assisted on Ramsey's goal.

Freshman forward Kelli McMahon (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season at the 89:07 mark off an assist from Kristen Quigley (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) to close out the scoring.

Lafayette (4-7-4 overall, 1-2-1 Patriot League) returns to action next Saturday, hosting Navy at 7 p.m.
