Dec. 20, 2003

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette Sports Network will televise the Lafayette at Princeton men's basketball contest on Monday, Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET to a live national audience via Empire Sports Network, DIRECTV channel 626 and DISH Network channel 432. The telecast can also be seen live in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia area on RCN-4 and WBPH-60.

The Lafayette-Princeton telecast is one of a Patriot League-best 13 televised men's basketball games the Lafayette Sports Network is producing during the 2003-04 basketball season.

Emmy-nominated local television sports broadcaster Gary Laubach is handling all of the Lafayette Sports Network's play-by-play duties for the seventh straight season. John Leone, Lafayette's Director of Alumni Affairs, is serving as the color analyst for the sixth straight season. Reporting from the Leopards' sidelines is Dan Mowdy for the third season.

The Lafayette Sports Network, which is in its fourth season of national telecasts via DIRECTV and DISH Network, reached an agreement with Empire Sports Network in August to air all 11 Lafayette football games in 2003 and select 2003-04 basketball games to its potential audience of more than 17.5 million viewers in Upstate and Western New York as well as more than 40 million potential viewers on DIRECTV (channel 626) and at least 19.5 million possible viewers on DISH Network (channel 432).

Regionally, the Lafayette Sports Network can be seen by more than 9.1 million viewers on RCN-TV 4 and WBPH-TV 60 in Eastern Pennsylvania - including all of Philadelphia - and Western New Jersey.
