EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's and women's basketball programs are hosting Youth Basketball Team Night on Friday, Feb. 21 when the Leopards host Bucknell in a Patriot League doubleheader.
All area youth basketball teams that bring five or more members will receive one dollar off each ticket purchased.
As an added bonus, the youth team that has the largest turnout will win a private clinic from the Lafayette basketball programs. One boy's team and one girl's team will win the opportunity to learn from the Leopards.
The Lafayette-Bucknell doubleheader on Feb. 21 begins with the women's game at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by the men's contest at 7:30 p.m.
The family-friendly atmosphere at Lafayette's Kirby Sports Center has helped the Leopards' men's basketball team lead the Patriot League in attendance the last five seasons. Lafayette is among the conference's leaders again this season.
