OSCEOLA, Fla. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette ran into a solid pitching performance that stonewalled the Leopards into a 6-0 loss to Maine on Monday at the Rebel Games.

Freshman hurler Sarah Bennis allowed just one hit in seven innings and recorded four strikeouts to pick up the win for Maine.

Meghan Davis smacked a double for the Leopards' only hit. Three players drew walks from Bennis, but Lafayette left five players on base in the game.

Jackie Fitzgerald took the loss for Lafayette, giving up six runs on eight hits in six innings of work. Megan Longo pitched a hitless seventh for the Leopards.

Jessica Brady sparked the Maine offense, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Erin Provost was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
