EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Tickets for the 2003 Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament, to be held March 7-9 at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md., can be purchased easily through Lafayette's online ticket office or by calling 610-330-5471.
The 13th annual PL Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament will begin Friday, March 7, with four quarterfinal-round women's games, followed Saturday, March 8 with the men's quarterfinal-round games. Sunday's action includes the women's semifinal games in the afternoon and the men's semifinal games in the evening. All four semifinal games on Sunday will be broadcast live on DIRECTV (Ch. 611). Action all three days begins at noon.
The women's championship game is set for Wednesday, March 12, at 7 p.m. at the home court of the highest-remaining seeded team and will be broadcast on DIRECTV (Ch. 611). The men's championship game, to air on ESPN at 4:30 p.m., will be played Friday, March 14, at the home court of the highest-remaining seeded team. Tickets for the two championship games will be sold by the respective host institution.
