Lafayette-Lehigh Football Game Sold Out

Nov. 10, 2004

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The 140th edition of the Lafayette-Lehigh football rivalry is sold out.

No tickets remain for the Nov. 20 match-up, set to kick off at 12:30 p.m. at Lafayette's 13,750-seat Fisher Field.

The Leopards and Mountain Hawks annually meet in the regular season finale. They have faced off 13 more times than the second most-played rivalry, Princeton-Yale.

Lafayette enters this weekend's game against Holy Cross 6-3 overall, 3-1 in Patriot League play. A win over the Crusaders would allow Lafayette to play for at least a share of the Patriot League championship against Lehigh.

Lehigh is 8-1 overall, 4-0 in league play entering Saturday's game against Fordham.

Lafayette holds a 72-62-5 advantage in the all-time series vs. Lehigh, including 38-22-5 in 65 games played in Easton.

Fans without tickets for the game can follow the action on radio via WEST 1400-AM or on television via the Lafayette Sports Network. The telecast will be available live locally on RCN-4 and WBPH-60, as well as nationally on the Empire Sports Network. Empire is available on DIRECTV channel 626 and DISH Network channel 432. The Lafayette Sports Network telecast will also air in tape-delay at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20 on CSTV: College Sports Television. CSTV is available on DIRECTV channel 610, Time Warner Cable and Comcast Cable.

Tickets for the 2005 game, slated for Nov. 19 at Lehigh's Goodman Stadium, will go on sale on Aug. 1 of next year.
