EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette Alumni Association and the Friends of Lafayette Basketball will be co-hosting a post-game reception following the Leopards' first round games in the Patriot League men's and women's basketball tournament this weekend (March 5-7) at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md.
The Lafayette women's basketball team faces top-seeded Colgate at noon on Friday, March 5 in the first quarterfinal round game of the tournament. The post-game reception will feature a sandwich buffet and be held in The Show Place Arena's Tack Room from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
The No. 3 seed Lafayette men's basketball team faces No. 6 seed Colgate at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 in the last of four quarterfinal round games. The post-game reception, which will include hors d'oeuvres and deserts, is scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m. and will also be held in the Tack Room within The Show Place Arena.
