NEWARK, Del. - A six-run first inning helped guide the Lafayette baseball team to a 12-7 win against Delaware in the first game of a doubleheader. The Leopards then dropped the series finale to the Blue Hens by a score of 15-2.

In the afternoon's first game, Lafayette (9-6) scored runs in the first five innings, including a six-run first inning that featured doubles by Tom Hayes and Dan Bierce.
