EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette football will open spring practice on Friday, March 28 at Fisher Stadium with the first of 15 practices allowed by the NCAA.
Lafayette will begin preparation for a run for its fourth Patriot League title in five years, winning the title in 2004, 2005 and 2006 when Lafayette also made its first three appearances in the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs.
The Leopards will practice Friday and Saturday. From that point on, beginning with Monday, March 31, Head Coach Frank Tavani's troops will practice every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Wednesday, April 23. Three days later, after an off day on April 25, the Leopards will participate in their annual Maroon-White Game.
