EASTON, Pa. - Freshman center Peter Daaleman (Chapel Hill, N.C./East Chapel Hill) has left the Lafayette men's basketball program.

"For personal reasons, Peter has decided to no longer play college basketball," Lafayette head coach Fran O'Hanlon said. "We wish him all the best as he moves forward."

Daaleman will remain enrolled at Lafayette.

The Leopards officially open practice for the 2009-10 season Friday afternoon. They will open the season at home on Nov. 13 against Wagner. Lafayette returns four of last season's starters in addition to many reserves that clocked considerable minutes in 2008-09.
