BOSTON, Mass. - Several members of Lafayette's indoor track and field team competed at the ECAC and IC4A Championships this weekend.

Patriot League Indoor Champion Jessica Buzzell finished 11th in the long jump at the ECAC Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center. Her jump of 18'01 ¾" missed the finals by an inch and a half.

Patriot League Indoor Champion Kyle Clayton made it through to the 50m dash semis with a 6.50 qualifying time. Rob Blum ran a personal-best 1:53.70 in the 800m run preliminaries, but his effort was shy of the qualifying time.

Adam Jones (triple jump), Matthew DeBlander (1000m), Sean Casey (500m run) and the 4x800m relay team (Chris Pregler, DeBlander, Casey and Blum) also competed in the IC4A Championships.

The Leopards open the outdoor season at its brand new outdoor track on March 28 when they host a seven-way meet in an all-day event.
