NCAA East Regional Results

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lafayette junior Seamas McGuire finished sixth in the men's javelin at the NCAA East Regional on Friday morning.

McGuire's toss of 206'5" earned Lafayette three team points in the event held at North Carolina A&T's Irwin Belk Track. He was the only one of four Patriot League competitors in the event to place in the top eight.

McGuire was seeded ninth after recording his season-best throw of 210'4" at the Patriot League Championships on May 1, which earned him the conference title.
