EASTON, Pa. - The Maroon Club's Friends of Lafayette Football will host its sixth annual Ladies Leopard Clinic on Saturday, Aug.8, at Fisher Stadium. All female football fans are invited to attend this free, one-day clinic.

Head coach Frank Tavani and his staff will discuss all aspects of the game. Offense, defense and special teams play will be covered by the staff, as will a general overview of the basic rules and regulations of the game.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The day concludes with lunch and pictures in full game day uniforms from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Lafayette returns 14 starters in 2009 and is coming off its second straight 7-4 season. Lafayette is the only Patriot League program to record a winning record in each of the last five regular seasons while also holding a Top 25 national ranking in each season.

The 2009 football season kicks off on Sept. 12 with a 6 p.m. game at Georgetown. The Leopards host perinnial national power Liberty on Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. in the first of three home night games this season. Season and mini-season ticket packages are on sale now and is the way to obtain your ticket to the 145th meeting between Lafayette and Lehigh while supplies last. Individual game tickets will go on sale Sept. 1.
