Classes start today on College Hill and everyone is gearing up for a busy fall semester. The staff at GoLeopards.com caught up with junior women's soccer player Kim Sorace to talk about her major, course schedule, and more.
What's your major and what do you like about your major? I'm a Biology major. I like that there are a lot of different kinds of biology classes that are offered.
What class are you most looking forward to this semester? The class I'm most looking forward to this semester is a class called the molecular basis of disease.
What is your earliest soccer memory? The earliest soccer memory I have is playing when I was in kindergarten with all my friends - we were called Kinderkickers. Everyone would run around chasing the ball in a big group, even the goalies. We all had such a great time and I loved playing.
What can you take from your sport and incorporate into everyday life? Teamwork, dedication and hard work.
My pregame ritual is...I always have to have three hair ties in my hair when I play
A talent I'd like to have is...singing.
The sport I'm worst at is...basketball. Even though I played in high school, I went one season where I only scored six points.
Something about me that others would be surprised to hear is...I like some Lil' Wayne songs.
What teammate does the funniest impression of your coach? Either Kassidy Keller or Merri McCann.
TV show I can't stop watching...Grey's Anatomy and The Office.
My favorite midnight snack is...Cheerios.
What do you still wish to accomplish? Playing in the Patriot League Tournament.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would definitely go to Italy - I went once with my family and I really want to go back there. Everything is so beautiful and the food is delicious.
