Clayton Sets New Records

BOSTON, Mass. - The Leopard men's track and field team completed the first day of the IC4A Championships held at Boston University on Saturday.

Senior Kyle Clayton led the way for the Leopards with a seventh place finish in the long jump and setting a school record in the 200m dash trials.

Clayton jumped 23' ¾" to earn his first All-East Honor. He clocked in at 21.65 for a 11th place finish in the 200m. The senior broke his own school record by 3/10th of a second. Clayton also competed in the 60m dash and finished 16th overall. With his finishes, Clayton advances to tomorrow's final.

Sophomore Nick DeRosa also ran the 200m dash with a time of 21.90 placing 19th overall. Senior Sean Casey ran 1:04.72 in the 500m dash and sophomore Chris Pregler ran 1:54.39 in the 800m run.

Senior Bradley Williams will be competing Sunday. Williams is entered in the triple jump.
