EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's soccer team boasted 17 students-athletes to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the second highest total in the league. Juniors Meredith McCann (Policy Studies) and Gina Milone (Biology) led the team with a perfect 4.00 grade-point average (GPA).
Six seniors completed the fall semester with a 3.2 GPA or better. Grace Fennell (Government & Law and International Affairs), Mackenzie Moore (International Economics and Commerce) and Kim Sorace (Biology) all finished with a 3.85 GPA. Classmates Stephanie Bereday (Mechanical Engineering, 3.66), Kassidy Keller (Art and English, 3.54) and Caitlin Kennedy (Economics and Government & Law, 3.77) rounded out the group of seniors.
Six juniors joined McCann and Milone: Melissa Applestein (Psychology and Policy Studies, 3.66), Angela CampoBasso (Biochemistry, 3.35), Shannon Neschke (Policy Studies, 3.50) and Janelle Pierson (Economics, 3.30).
Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year Lauren Smedley posted a 3.36 and was four other sophomores where honored. Bridget Becker (International Economics and Commerce, 3.27) Elizabeth Cole (Undeclared, 3.85), Natalie Stone (English and Policy Studies, 3.80) and Bridget Tavani (Undeclared, 3.67) were named to the list.
