LEWISBURG, Pa. - Joelle Neilson picked up the final day at the Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championships right where she left off on Saturday, taking first place in the women's triple jump with a leap of 39' 10.5'' on Sunday at Bucknell's Gehard Fieldhouse. After a first-place finish in the long jump, Neilson earned herself Female Field Performer of the Meet honors.

Freshman Brittany Powell also made it to the podium along with Neilson, nabbing the third place position in the triple jump with a leap of 37' 5.75''.

Sophomore Elise Buffinton took third in the pole vault with a jump of 11' 3.75'' and classmate Rachel Pena finished the shot put competition in sixth after a toss of 40' 3.5''.

For the men's team, Jerome Rudolph finished second in the 60m dash with a time of 6.96, earning him his second top-three finish of the weekend.

Senior Nick DeRosa and junior Nick Hepp earned third and fifth place, respectively, in the 200m dash while Chris Parker secured fourth overall in the 800m run with a time of 1:56.07. With his time, DeRosa qualified for the IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass.

In addition to DeRosa, Nick Henderson wrapped up an IC4A bid, taking the third-place spot in pole vault with a height of 15' 9''.

The distance medley team of Dayne Mosconi, Derrick Hargwood, Neil Franzese and William Volkmann finished in fifth with a time of 10:12.83. The time earned them a qualifying bid for the IC4A Championships.

Josh Sadlock ran a personal-best in the 3000m run with a time of 8:32.89. The time was good enough for 12th overall in the event.

Overall, the Leopards men's team finished in fifth place, while the women took seventh. The men's team continues the championship part of their season on March 3 and 4 when they compete in the IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass. The women will compete in the ECAC Championships that same weekend in Boston, Mass.
