Final Results

PRINCETON, N.J. - Erika Stasakova shattered a school record, and Chris Parker's performance highlighted Lafayette's short list of performers at the two-day Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton this weekend.

Stasakova broke the Lafayette school record in the 3000 meter steeplechase with her 21st place finish in the event. Stasakova crossed the line in 11:02.01 and improved her personal, and previous Lafayette, best by nearly 26 seconds.

For the men's team, Chris Parker qualified for the IC4A Championships in the 800 meter run with a personal best time of 1:51.41. Parker's time ranked 13th among the competition.

Other Lafayette student-athletes competing over the weekend were Rachel Pena, Gwen Steckel, Grace Watters, William Volkmann and Josh Sadlock.

The women's team next competes at the Penn Relay's on April 26, while the men's squad returns to action when both teams participate in the Lehigh Invitational on April 28.
