EASTON, Pa. - Fourteen members of the Lafayette women's soccer team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Friday.
Four seniors earned places on the Academic Honor Roll including, four-time selections Bridget Becker and Lauren Smedley, as well as Jill Dozier and Allison Stone. Kelly Sposato represented the junior class, while sophomores Caroline Craver, Alyssa Finelli, Jaclyn Giordano, Alex Reisinger and Catrina Yohay were all honored. Freshmen Madison Murray, Samantha Potoczak, Allie Torru and Anna Wissler were also selected.
Smedley was one of only ten women's soccer student-athletes to post a 4.0 GPA in the fall. Following the season, Smedley was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.
