Patriot League Championships Complete Results
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - On the second and final day of the Patriot League Championships, the Lafayette Track and Field team finished fifth in both the men's and women's team rankings.

Rose Willey had the top finish of the day, grabbing the top spot in the women's 3000m steeplechase. Willey finished in a time of 10:56.38. Teammate Stephanie Benko finished right behind her in second, with a time of 11:00.21.

The 4x400m relay team finished in the third slot in the finals. The team of Erin Keen, Haley Langton, Chelsea Marone, and Devin Smith ran a time of 3:52.53. The 4x100m relay team, consisting of Keen, Brittany Powell, Casey O'Brien, and Smith grabbed a fourth place finish with a time of 47.85.

Powell also placed fourth in the women's triple jump with a distance of 37' 8.5". Chelsea Marone placed fifth in the 400m hurdles after running 1:03.22. Dejana Harris placed sixth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.55. Freshman Devin Smith's time of 55.89 in the 400m was good for second place.

On the men's side, the 4x400m relay team of Ryan McVeigh, Nick Hepp, Jarrel Bobb and Bill Leonard took the side's highest spot, finishing second with a time of 3:14.21.

Chris Castello finished in the top five in nine out of 10 events in the decathalon to take third-place honors with an overall score of 6,110 points. Hepp, Chris Parker and Timothy Shaw racked up fourth-place finishes in the 400m dash, 800m run and 400m hurdles, respectively.

McVeigh posted a fifth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.83 and the 4x100m relay team of David Robinson, Bobb, Jordan Roses and Hepp rounded out the top-five placements, finishing in the fifth position.

Next up for the team is the ECAC/IC4A Championships next weekend in Princeton, N.J.
