Opening Tip

Lafayette is 64-41 all-time in season openers, including a 22-23 mark in season-opening games on the road. Lafayette opened up on the road a year ago with Villanova handing the Leopards a 75-59 defeat.

Lafayette takes on the first of four opponents from the Northeast Conference tonight against defending regular season conference champion Robert Morris. The Leopards face off with FDU on Nov. 30 in Teaneck, N.J. and play host to Wagner on Dec. 6 and Sacred Heart on Dec. 8 inside Kirby Sports Center.

The all-time winningest coach in Lafayette and Patriot League history and longest-tenured coach in the conference, Fran O'Hanlon (Villanova, '70) enters his 20th season as the Leopards' head coach.
