Baseball Holds Second Career Night in NYC

EASTON, Pa. - The Friends of Lafayette Baseball held it second annual career and networking event recently in New York City at the prestigious New York Athletic Club.

The event provided current Lafayette players with an opportunity to learn about career options in the field of study they are pursuing or considering, but also encourages students to learn about the variety of careers available in multiple industries.

Friends of Lafayette Baseball Career Night consisted of an informal panel discussion on career development. Topics included how to network or market yourself to industry recruiters, what skills and abilities are important in your area of interest aqnd what search techniques you should utilize when applying for potential jobs.

The Friends of Lafayette Baseball are very appreciative of our panelists' support of Friends of Lafayette Baseball Career Night and it was a fabulous evening for everyone involved, including Buzz Hedden '67, Bill Hedden '01, Dan King '94, Matt Tambellini '03, Steve Hirt '88, Frank Blandino '89, Josh Oshinsky '00 and Kevin St. Pierre '00.
