Opening Tip

- With eight points on Saturday, senior Joey Ptasinski would reach the 1,000-point plateau for his career. If that milestone is reached, Ptasinski, senior Dan Trist and classmate Seth Hinrichs would become the first trio of 1,000-point scorers on the same team in Lafayette history.

- Trist was named the Patriot League Player of the Week on Monday following a pair of 20-plus-point performances against Bucknell and Loyola a week ago. Trist recorded his third double-double of the year at Boston U. with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

- Lafayette ranks in the top-30 nationally in all three offensive efficiency categories, including holding the fifth spot in the country in three-point shooting percentage, knocking in distance shots at a 41.8 percent rate. Additionally, The Leopards are 11th in free-throw percentage (75.4%) and 30th in overall field-goal percentage (47.9%).

- Ptasinski has been excellent this season, ranking first in the nation in three-point shooting percentage (55.4%) and 23rd in three’s per game at 3.06 per contest, also good enough for first in the league ranks.
