OPENING TIP
- Boston U. ended the 2013-14 campaign for the Leopards a year ago, shooting a staggering 66.1 percent from the field in a 91-54 victory in the Patriot League Quarterfinal.
- Lafayette ranks in the top-25 nationally in all three offensive efficiency categories, including holding the second spot in the country in three-point shooting percentage, knocking in distance shots at a 43.1 percent rate. Additionally, The Leopards are eighth in free-throw percentage (76.1%) and 23rd in overall field-goal percentage (48.4%).
- Sophomore
Monty Boykins has provided a much-needed bench presence this season, averaging 8.7 points per game since entering Patriot League play, upping his average from 5.2 points per contest during the non-conference slate.
- Senior
Joey Ptasinski has been excellent from the field offensively this season, ranking third nationally and first in the league in three-point shooting percentage (54.4%). Additionally, the Highlands Ranch, Colo. native ranks 24th in three's per game at 3.07 per contest, also good enough for first in the league ranks.
