EASTON, Pa. -- Junior Collin Albershardt has been selected as a member of the 2015 Academic All-Patriot League Team.

Albershardt started every game of his junior season after playing in 10 games as a sophomore and 12 as a freshman (primarily on special teams). This season, he was one of 14 players with 20 or more tackles (23), including three tackles for loss with one sack.

The defensive end maintains a 3.52 cumulative grade-point average while majoring in Economics. He adds this honor to his CoSIDA Academic All-District II selection announced earlier in November. Albershardt has also been selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll throughout his career.

To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key player in their sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
