Opening Tip

- The Leopards hurt their chances of hosting a Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal game with a loss to Colgate on Wednesday. Lafayette can still finish as high as the four seed, with playoff scenarios listed on the next page.

- Senior Dan Trist is putting together the best year of his career this season. Trist is tied for first in the Patriot League in scoring at 17.5 points per game and became the first Lafayette player since Stefan Ciosici ’98 to record three straight double-doubles with a 14-point, 10-rebound effort at Lehigh on Feb. 22.

- Lafayette ranks in the top-25 nationally in all three offensive efficiency categories, including holding the eighth spot in the country in three-point field-goal percentage (40.7%). Additionally, The Leopards are 11th in free-throw percentage (75.7%) and 23rd in overall field-goal percentage (47.7%).

- Sophomore Nick Lindner has stepped up his offensive game since entering Patriot League play. Lindner put together a career-high 30-point performance in a 95-83 loss to Colgate on Wednesday. The Doylestown, Pa. native is dropping in 13.4 points per game in Patriot League contests, good enough for second on the team behind Trist (18.1 ppg).
