EASTON, Pa. - Four-time All-Patriot League Selection Ross Scheuerman '15 signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, a move that will put him on the team's 90-man roster under first-year head coach Doug Pederson.

Scheuerman last spent time on the Green Bay Packers practice squad for part of the 2015 season, wearing No. 26 for the Packers.

Scheuerman ended his collegiate career with 3,504 rushing yards and 31 rushing touchdowns in four seasons, marks that place him third and fourth, respectively, in the Lafayette record books. He also finished with 129 career receptions for 1,129 yards and eight TD's. In his senior season, he churned out 1,868 all-purpose yards, the sixth best mark in the nation. His most memorable game in that season was a 304-yard, three-touchdown performance in a win over archrival Lehigh on Nov. 22, 2014 in front of a sold out crowd at Yankee Stadium in the 150th Meeting of College Football's Most-Played Rivalry.

Scheuerman originally signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a non-drafted free agent on May 8, 2015. He was placed on injured reserve early in training camp and was released on Aug. 28, 2015.
