THE WEEKEND SERIES: This weekend's schedule has been disrupted by the impending bad weather. The first game of the series has been moved up to Friday at 3:30 p.m. The teams are slated to play two games on Saturday at noon, weather permitting.

ABOUT HOLY CROSS: The Crusaders enter the weekend at 5-21 overall, having last played on March 31 after their non-league series with Quinnipiac on April 7 was postponed. Holy Cross is 1-2 in Patriot League play, claiming the series finale at Bucknell (5-4) after dropping the first two games (5-3, 5-1).
Freshman SS Taylor Wahler leads the team with a .388 average, hitting primarily out of the two hole. She has a team-best 31 hits, including eight extra-base hits. Sophomore 1B Taylor Moss has driven in 21 runs while hitting for a .356 average in the middle of the order.
Senior Gennifer Durham anchors the Crusader pitching staff, throwing 56 percent of the team's innings (93). She holds a 2.94 ERA with a 4-9 record in 13 starts. She has a 4:1 strikeout to walk ratio.
LAST TIME OUT: Allison Brown hit a solo home run in the fourth and singled in another run in the fifth in a 5-1 win in the nightcap victory over La Salle (9-17) on Wednesday. Lafayette starter Stacy Gordon retired La Salle in order in the fourth and fifth and did not give up a hit in the sixth. Gordon allowed one run on six hits (all singles) with three strikeouts and a walk to even her record at 3-3.
In the first game of the day, a five-run third inning by the Explorers led to a 7-2 final. Maddie Wensel had three hits while Samantha Sweigart, Jenna Orlando and Jenna Didio each had multiple-hit games.
ABOUT THE YOUTH: Lafayette is one of 28 teams in the nation to feature 10 or more freshmen and sophomores on its roster. The youngsters make up 56 percent of the roster.
