EASTON, Pa. - The annual Lafayette Football Forum will be held Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is being co-sponsored by the Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley and the Maroon Club's Friends of Lafayette Football.
The event gives attendees a first-hand look at the 2016 installment of the Leopards. It begins at 10 a.m. at Fisher Stadium where the team will hold a live scrimmage. Coffee, tea, water and donuts will be provided.
At 11:45 a.m., the program moves inside of the home of Leopard football, Bourger Varsity Football House, for presentations by Lafayette head coach Frank Tavani, his staff, select student-athletes and members of the athletic department. Topics will include the team's progress in training camp and outlook for the season, the future of the Patriot League, and new rules for the 2016 season, among others. A tour of Bourger Varsity Football House will follow the presentations.
Go-Logo Solutions will be on hand for those wanting to purchase the latest in Lafayette football gear.
The event will be held rain or shine, and only cancelled in the event of lightning.
EVENT SPECIFICS:
Time: 10:00 a.m. -- 1:00 p.m.
Place: Fisher Stadium visitor sideline and visitor stands only and Bourger Varsity Football House. For safety reasons, we request that no one stand in the end zones or on the home sideline. Young children must be supervised at all times.
Invitees: This is an open invitation to anyone who is interested in our Lafayette College Football Program.
Cost: Complimentary courtesy of Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley, Friends of Lafayette Football and Lafayette College.
Parking: Parking is available in nearby college owned lots and on streets near Kirby Sports Center. Individuals requiring handicap parking may park in the lot behind Bourger Varsity Football House.
